A record number attended the 5th Annual Trailblazer Campthat was held August 13th-16th at Camp Victory Mountain.Morning Chapel was led by Pastor Kevin Cochran and evening Chapel was led byPastor John Hunsucker. All were encouraged to let the Word act as a map andguide for the greatest journey of all-our lives. Many campers came forward atSaturday nights’ Chapel to pray the Prayer of Salvation. We give thanks andglory to God, who calls us to fulfill the special purpose for which He createdus and for each and every person that prayed that prayer. Seeds are beingplanted and lives are being changed!

Partnering with Covenant World Missions, we had theopportunity with our mission offering, to assist the Columbian Covenant Churchas they seek to purchase property in La Vega, Cudinamarca to use specificallyfor camp ministry. Our needs were great this year given the economic downturn,but once again, God provided for our needs through Conference donations forwhich we all are eternally grateful. Praise Him for all He has done!

The Camping Committee of the Southeast Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church exists to reach children and teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We accomplish our mission through fun, fellowship, worship and sharing in the diversity of the broader body of the Southeast Conference. We offer at camp teaching from God's Word, small group Bible discussions, prayer, one on one sharing, singing and FUN!
